Must-read on how Trump can slow down mail service to steal the election - from @ThePlumLineGS.

I hate to say this, but I think it is time to shift our focus from mail/absentee voting...

And focus on *EARLY IN-PERSON* voting. https://twitter.com/ThePlumLineGS/status/1289210640033341440
2/ Here's a thread on which swing states have early in-person voting.
Obviously, in-person voting has Covid-19 risks.
But:
*No long lines on election day.
*No deliberate or accidental mail delays.
*No bad-faith legal challenges on postmarks/signatures to slow down vote count.
3/ Florida:
http://vote.org : Early voting starts "at least 10 days before the election"
Ends "3 days before the election. Varies by county. Contact county elections office to determine if more early voting dates are available."

4/ North Carolina:
Early voting starts "19 days before the election."
Ends "3 days before the election."
Contact your Local Election Office to learn more about early voting in your area:
https://www.usvotefoundation.org/vote/eoddomestic.htm
5/ Pennsylvania:
"Varies by county. Pennsylvania does not offer early voting, but counties may make mail ballots available to voters in person up to 50 days before Election Day.

***Mail ballots may be dropped off in county offices until Election Day.***
6/ Wisconsin:
Starts "At least 14 days before the election (in-person absentee voting)."
Ends: "As late as 2 days before the election (in-person absentee voting)."
Contact county elections office for additional information.
https://www.usvotefoundation.org/vote/eoddomestic.htm
7/ Michigan:
Early voting starts 45 days before the election.
Ends the day before the election.
https://www.usvotefoundation.org/vote/eoddomestic.htm
9/ Georgia (now a presidential swing state, but also two hugely important Senate races)
Early voting starts "the fourth Monday before the election."
Ends "the Friday before the election." https://www.vote.org/early-voting-calendar/
10/ Maine
(hello @SenatorCollins and @SaraGideon)

Early voting starts 30 days before the election (in-person absentee).
Ends Thursday before the election (in-person absentee).
11/ Ohio:
Early voting starts "28 days before the election (in-person absentee voting)."
Ends "2pm on the day before the election (in-person absentee voting)."
12/ The bottom line is that the swing states (including IA and TX but not NH) all have some kind of early voting.

PA is county-by-county, but counties that offer a mail option also provide direct drop-off at county office.

Spread the word:
VOTE EARLY IN-PERSON, NOT MAIL.
