Thread: Going to list Hydroxychloroquine studies and anecdotal evidence showing effectiveness. Why would doctors be prevented from using any drug at their disposal if there is a chance it could help during this pandemic?
In the new study, among 84 patients who took hydrochloroquine,20.2% were admitted to the ICU or died within seven days of taking the drug. Among the 97 patients who did not take the drug,22.1% went to the ICU or died. The difference was not determined to be statistically different
So a small study looking at one factor and found to be not statistically different.
It’s not a new drug, it’s been used effective for malaria autoimmune diseases such as lupus and some types of arthritis. Why is it suddenly dangerous? https://twitter.com/4reunitedstates/status/1264624293201108993?s=21 https://twitter.com/4reunitedstates/status/1264624293201108993
