Right! Just fioled tomorrow's Graun toon, so time at last to announce the results of the Great @DrawDesmondSwayne MiniChallenge. Won't beat about the bush, as we really shouldn't burden our artistic sensibilities with this gobby freakshow, so let's get straight on with it....

One can hardly dissent from the caption yo @mrleft1980's entry, nor @daviescartoons' choice of costume, while @Roy_Isserlis is one of many of you to highlight Swayne's ease with blackface if not a muzzle. Ditto @davidjanes revelation of what's behind the mask
Some urological imagery from @StickyDrawer, who all in all throughout these challenges hasn't baulked at delving into his id; then @nickymonkey, @DaveGib92979385 globule drawing & special salute to @SwissRich71, who enters the same typographical portrait each time. Well done!
It has to be said, for such a simple drawing, @Nay15959609's is likely to produce the darkest nightmares, while @DavidWaywell hits nail on head once more; @raisethegame exudes menace and @JohnLeBrocq questions, once more, that unconvincing mask
Here's former winner @JamesDFMellor's drawing of someone else, though @petefowlerart and @nickmonkey and @cuffe64 have all caught different, equally repellant aspects of the subject

Right, ands here we go again! Final few before the finalists: Good old bolt gag from @jedbenitez, nice picture of that bloke out of Airplance from @Crap_Portraits and sinister potato sack man from @Andrew82239566
All of which are great, but greater yet are these, and I had real trouble choosing a winner. @Kloob's made me laugh a lot, but it's not quite there, while former winner @joe_ackenbush's, with his customary brutal penmanship, hasn't quite captured Swayne's innate Swiss Tony
So really it's down to these, all of which are practically perfect. This one, from @JaseToons, our initial #DrawMattHancock winner @nuffinc's entry & persistent entrant @t_colgate's contribution are all so good it's taken me a week to decide that, actually...
...at the end of the day @kevinwellsart's portrayal of Desmond Swayne is even better, so he's the winner. Well done! I'll chuck a copy of my latest book in which the y-front facemask. DM me your address! That's all folks
