The #PDPBill gives #DataPrincipals rights to access, update, erase and port their #PersonalData held with any entity.
BUT, s.21 places CERTAIN conditions for exercising these rights.

- To exercise ANY right, users must make a WRITTEN request to a #DataFiduciary, with required identity docs. - Users can also be charged a FEE to exercise rights.
This could be a HUGE barrier in our country as many ppl aren't formally literate & are poor but use #tech! (3/n)

Users SHOULD:
- be able to make requests in all possible ways including SMS, toll-free calling or in-person;
- only pay NOMINAL fees, if AT ALL so everyone can access their #UserDataRights.
