With regards to another reason for racists to diss this celebration (the cancellation of the Croagh Patrick climb) - as you can see from Croke Park, there’s social distancing. The climb up the mountain is a narrow path where this wouldn’t be possible.
Nobody is trying to take away your right to be a Christian. We are still in a pandemic and with 88 cases confirmed yesterday, we are looking at a second wave. We need to be careful, just like what is happening in Croke Park. Enough said, fuck racists.
