Strictly online adult queer culture is figuring out what combinations of identity labels best fit you and then being harassed by people half your age arguing how "you don't understand your own labels or history"...
Most often the processes of figuring our one's identity can take years, decades, our entire lives even.
And not only that, many of us have directly fought for the rights of the whole community, and seen firsthand as paradigms shifted and as oppression has occurred...
To have all that thrown back at us by some who don't know the struggles or the history of the communities they're trying to police is quite frankly insulting.
We describe this as a 'strictly online' thing because most IRL communities tend to be much more hostile towards such exclusionism, though there are definite exceptions.
They also tend to be more hostile towards the aggressive behaviours of these people.
