Nothing is above critique, here’s my critique for 3rd wave feminism.

1. Women have not been liberated from patriarchal beauty culture, we are getting even more imprisoned.

2. Pornhub continues to boldly exists with its foundation on misogyny and the exploitation of women.

3. Women are being forced to relearn compulsive self-sacrifice, particularly black women.

4. Feminism is now a political fight/movement for everyone. Women have left the center.

5. Theory > practice... this has alienated the majority of women and also left us moving from one philosophical debate to another, pretending we’re progressing.

6. We can’t critique gender. This one kills me.

7. Female bodies in many ways have become even more othered.

8. Misogynistic fetishes are becoming more celebrated, leaving young women internalizing even more self hate. “if he loves you, he’ll hit you” has been replaced with “if he desires you, he’ll hit you”

9. The word “terf” exists and is used by femininsts. A very misogynistic slur btw.

10. Gender stereotypes are back. Feminists are significantly more offended by misgendering than they are by “lady brains”

11. Because of how overbearing America/the west is, global feminist discourse has taken the painful left versus right discourse style. We’re pretending to decolonize while ironically centering whiteness, white “womanhood” etc

12. Sex positivity needs significantly more clarity
