shortcomings inNEP
1)Duration of degree courses like http://B.Sc ,B.A etc.should be 2 1/2 years(2 years theory+1 year practical’s)and certainly not 4 years and I guess the logic behind extending the course duration is to avoid the surging crowd of unemployed graduates! https://twitter.com/iamdharmarajan0/status/1289125790597001216
Shortcomings:
2)Already people are averse to continuing with tough courses like Mathematics,physics,chemistry,Bio technology and such other hard-to-understand courses and if multiple entry and exit is encouraged then many from village backgrounds are likely to leave it half way!
Shortcomings:

3)The fact of the matter is that more than half of the students are from villages only and hence there won’t be any motivation to complete the courses and only city students will go till the completion of these 4 year courses!

4)There is no linkage between the output of degree holders (including Diplomas,certificates as per the NEP)and the job generation efforts of the government and this leaves the problem of unemployment untouched in this which is very grave and is threatening the country due to the
.....fear of unemployed youth going in the wrong directions like chasing girls,love making,becoming stooges of corrupt politicians,taking to crimes like rape&murder,begging the politicians for getting employment opportunities and so many other unwanted activities in the society..
....Will only spell disaster to the peaceful living of people which infact is happening even now due to the unemployment and therefore the government should make all out efforts to generate employment at a much faster rate to give employment to all those come out of colleges!
5)There is another serious problem relating moral degradation and directionless thinking of students and in this matter schools and colleges only can help the students by introducing and teaching them the following new subjects
*social awareness
*social stigmas
*social upliftment
6)NEP broaches on the matter of practical education but it has not laid down the plan for making the education practical oriented,for example the government intervention is a must for identifying projects which the government is facing on a daily basis or even on one-time basis!
For example the Practical projects could be something like this,
School level:
Study on local traffic&bus-route problems,crowd control problems,parking issues,water distribution issues and so on and so forth!
Time=3 months!

#TamilNaduCoronaupdate #youth #Politics #ThalaAjith
College level
At this level state level problems and issues like Water sharing among districts,agricultural requirements of farmers,crop growing patterns,transportation of various goods without backtracking,cultural heritages,tourism development,job generation etc!
Time=6 months!
Higher Education
At this level students should be given practical problems relating to International trading systems,standard of education in the country,political upheavals,corruption control,human behaviour in industries,changing behaviour of labourers etc
Timebperiod=6 months!
Finally,when the entire country’s more than 70% population are living,staying,residing and also sending their respective children to the schools located in villages(where parents are lowly educate)how is it possible to prepare them for board exams at the 6 th,8 th,11 th classes?
Moreover,when the existing system is delivering the results beautifully except for the high fees structure and lack of quality teachers,where was the necessity to change everything except these two?In the overall context, NEP2020needs 2be reviewed for taking the country forward!
