There's a woke gang who is so woke that their wokeness puts them in dark often. They probably don't know(or act like they don't) the government procedures before issuing the policy. Although this info is on the MHRD website but hope this thread helps. +

+The govt. was elected in 2014 and the consultation process began in 2015 itself. In 2016 a committee led by Late Shri T.S.R. SUBRAMANIAN was submitted. A 2016 draft was made. It was later discussed in the Rajya Sabha under rule 176.

A committee was then formed UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF DR K KASTURIRANGAN. 2 years into research to make and formulate a draft and final result was submitted to the Ministry on 31.05.2019

DRAFT NEP 2019 hence was uploaded on the website of the MHRD to take SUGGESTIONS from the STAKEHOLDERS where in their suggestions were invited upto 15.08.2019 #NationalEducationPolicy2020

On 09.07.2019, a meeting with STATE EDUCATION SECRETARIES OF SCHOOL DEPARTMENT was held. I forgot to mention how the draft was translated into 22 languages for everyone's comfortable reading.

A special meeting of CABE on NEP was held. In the meeting, 26 Education Ministers of various States and UTs, representatives of States,UTs, Members of CABE, Heads of Autonomous Orgs, VC of Unis, attended the meeting along with senior officials of the Central and State Govts.

Around 2 lakh suggestions on the Draft National Education Policy received from various stakeholders. A meeting on Draft NEP 2019 of *Parliamentary Standing Committee on Human Resource Development was held on 07.11.2019*

IT IS AFTER THIS that the #NationalEducationPolicy2020 came into being. I have my doubts wrt. to certain aspects and for that I am reading the 484 page document not a WIRE article to form my opinion. The woke gang needs to chill.
