The amount of cold sales emails I received at my last job was overwhelming

I see the same generic bullshit from everyone. The type of emails I stopped reading after the second line.

Only a few found me actually reading til the end and considering taking action.

Why?
Because it was short. To the point. And extremely clear.

This is how my product/service

Why and how it adds value TO ME
I do not give a flying rats ass about what people have said about it

I don’t give a shit about how it worked previously for others - why will it work FOR ME

And I certainly give no fucks about how long you’ve been doing it.

All that matters is me and how it will help me
I applied the same principles to when I was sending cold emails.

Results were different, I’m not saying your lead conversion will skyrocket.. but

They will take the time to answer and that’s your chance to build a connection

If it’s not for now, it could be for later
I was in the cheese business in Indiana selling Italian cheeses.

I stopped talking about me and what we are known for, and started talking about them.

What did I do?

I started targeting chains where cheese is their highest yearly expenditure

I targeted Pizzeria Chains
These chains spends 100k+ on shredded cheeses for their pizza. The bigger the chain the bigger the spend.

This is how I approached them on my first email 👇👇👇
My name is Paolo and I work for [x], we produce Italian cheese on a large scale.

Cheese is your highest overhead, and we’re a local manufacturing plant - I can save you thousands of $$$ and still provide you with a better product.
I hit up so many people within a 150 mile radius (considered Local) and gave them the same lines.

My response skyrockets and I acquired some important news customers thanks to it.

Keep it short and sweet. Why should they choose you over a competitor?

Avoid being generic.
