Some life manners:

1) When you borrow someone’s vehicle, make sure you clean it out and fill up the tank before you return it. Be the person people want to lend their things to.
2) When someone wants to give you a gift or do something nice for you, receive it with thanks. Let people bless you, so that the Lord can bless them. Then later on, when you can, do something for them.
3) Wear the appropriate attire for each occasion. Don’t be afraid to ask an older person what is appropriate to wear for a certain event. In general, more pants and collars (for the guys), less shorts and tees.
4) Always show up on time. On time is a few minutes early depending on the type of appointment. It shows you have respect for the others involved and/or the occasion at hand.
5) Eat what is set before you. Whether it is something that is not very good to you, or whether it’s something outside of your diet, eat it.
6) Always treat other people’s stuff better than you do your own and clean up more after yourself than you do at home.
7) Wherever you are, be there. And when you need to go, say so and go. Give others all of yourself with the time you share, but don’t let others steal your time that belongs to people other than them.
