sharks are literally so important. They are at the top of the food chain so if we eliminate them all of the rest of the species grow too large in population and then use up all the resources and then we’re SCREWED
sharks eat fish, but they also like easy prey. So easy prey would be the slowest fish because they don’t have to work as hard. The slowest fish is most likely sick. Shark eat sick fish and get them out of the ocean!!!
sharks keep the sick fish from spreading diseases to other fish. Which keeps balance in the ocean ecosystems
also it means those of you who eat sea food are less likely to eat a diseased fish. Because a shark already ate it!!!!

when a shark attacks, a majority of the time it’s because it thinks you are a sea turtle or a seal. Yanno, actual shark food.
Sharks don’t have good eyesight so if you’re in the ocean and it’s looking up at you, you splashing around looks like prey

because sharks can’t see well, they are curious biters. Like a puppy. Or a baby. Puppies and babies put everything in their mouths to figure out of its food. Sharks are simply doing the same thing!!!!!

but guess what!!! if a shark wanted to eat you, IT WOULD!!! but sharks bite and then leave you alone. Why? Because they bit, realized you weren’t food, and then left!!! if it wanted to eat you it would bite, let go, and then bite again!!!!

so, sharks are not as bad as you make them out to be. if you are swimming in the ocean, the best thing to do is to hold still and it will probably swim away!!!! it doesn’t want to eat you!!!
