I am feeling your anxiety with my own as I evaluate the science, the logistics and the decision points. We all want to get to a decision that keeps students/families/staff safe & healthy, deliver a high-quality learning/teaching experience, & support social/ emotional needs. 2/5
RPS will work with MDE & MDH to help decide which learning model we should use to start the school year, centered on local data about the virus in Olmsted County. There are still many factors to take into consideration, details to be resolved and feedback to get from you. 3/5
For information as we move through the rest of the process, keep following RPS social media & your emaiI. I don't anticipate new information before the school board meeting next Tuesday 8/4, but if any materials are available before then, I will link to them here. 5/5
