A thread on @NatbyNature vs @BeckyLynchWWE at Summerslam 2019, such an underrated match:
Becky hits a suplex and immediately goes for the armbar submission. Her going for this variation of an armbar immediately is very telling considering it can be viewed as a shot at Ronda, who Nattie helped train.
Natalya tries to break the armbar by slamming Becky down onto the mat but Becky having the armbar as her finish isn't going to let the hold get broken this easily.
Nattie manages to break the armbar by deadlifting Becky up but Becky adapts quickly and hits a hurricanrana into a cloverleaf variation, demonstrating her adaptability as a submission wrestler.
Natalya manages to break the cloverleaf by trying to get Becky into a headlock but Becky tries to reverse this into the Disarmer. Nattie counters again by throwing Becky throw the ropes only for Becky to lock in the guillotine choke
Natalya again breaks the guillotine hold by slamming Becky into the barricade and then pays tribute to @WWECesaro, one of her best friends, by hitting Becky, who is also one of Cesaro's best friends, with the Cesaro Swing into the barricade.
Natalya continues softening up Becky's leg for the Sharpshooter by quite literally kicking Becky's legs out from underneath her.
Natalya yet again attacks Becky's leg by hitting her with a suplex close to the ropes so that Becky's injured leg would collide with the ropes.
Natalya continues the attack on Becky's leg by applying arguably the most unique Sharpshooter we've seen.
Becky fights back by throwing Natalya into the announce table arm-first, and then throws the same arm into the steel steps, softening Natalya up for the Disarmer just as Natalya was trying to soften Becky's leg up for the Sharpshooter.
At this point, Natalya is panicked, so she abandons her original plan of targeting Becky's leg for the Sharpshooter and just tries to apply as much damage to Becky's entire body as she can.
Becky catches Natalya and applies Natalya's own submission hold in Canada, the home of Bret Hart. I doubt Becky thought she would win here but it's a way to get into Natalya's head. Like Becky said during her feud with Ronda, you lose mentally before you lose physically.
As an expert of the Sharpshooter, Natalya finds a smart way to reverse the hold, slamming Becky into the turnbuckle neck-first with her own momentum.
Natalya reverses Becky's corner kick, again hurting Becky's leg, but instead of capitalising by going for the Sharpshooter at the perfect time, Natalya's ego gets the better of her - she wants revenge for Becky using her finisher so she goes for the Disarmer.
Becky reverses the Disarmer, but makes the mistake of going for the Sharpshooter, allowing Natalya to reverse and apply the Sharpshooter herself. It's too late though, Becky's leg has had time to recover whilst Becky was in the Disarmer.
Becky eventually makes it to the ropes, but this doesn't break the hold considering it's a submission match. It does however make Natalya worried about Becky getting leverage so she decides to move Becky away from the ropes.
As Natalya pulls Becky back into the ring to reapply the Sharpshooter, Becky has the chance to block it and applies the Disarmer. Nattie taps out.
Nattie's pride and ego from not applying the Sharpshooter when she should've and instead applying the Disarmer cost her the match.
