Why I like cats more than dogs

Dogs are nice and soft and can be cuddly, but take more work than a cat. Depending on the breed, dogs can need grooming one-four times a month. Yes, they can do tricks, but some dogs need trainers for that. These are more expenses for your dog. (1-?)

Dogs also use the restroom outside. When they aren't trained to, they go inside . Everywhere. When you leave the house and forget to put them in a crate, you may come home to a VERY disgusting house. Dogs also need to be walked, and, if you have a small house, that- (2-?)

-would not be very beneficial, especially during quarantine. Dogs can also have no self-control, and end up hurting you if they are not careful. (3-?)

Cats are very amazing! They use the restroom in litter boxes, which can be easily cleaned and maintained. Some cats go outside, but they come back to you because you are their source of food and shelter. (4-?)

Cats can scratch you, but only if you bother them. They are calm most of the time and are very nice once they warm up to you. Some people may say that cats cost more than dogs, due to their tendency to scratch things, but this can easily be fixed with a cardboard box. (5-?)

Cats will claw at the box instead of your furniture, and will sit in the box as well! This also helps by providing an extra use for boxes. (6-?)
