@CNN @msnbc @allinwithchris @Lawrence @donlemon @VanJones68 @RevSharpton @bluelivesmtr @PoliceOne @ChrisCuomo @smerconish @Bakari_Sellers THREAD: St Louis States Attorney finds no evidence to charge anyone in the Mike Brown case. Again. And it should have implications. https://twitter.com/stltoday/status/1288952274337910787
Number 1: A local grand jury exhaustively examined this case and declined to return an indictment. This was followed by exhaustive DOJ investigation which articulated facts highlighting that the lethal force employed was justified. See report https://www.justice.gov/sites/default/files/opa/press-releases/attachments/2015/03/04/doj_report_on_shooting_of_michael_brown_1.pdf
Number 2: These investigations should have been dispositive for reasonable people. Nonetheless some public figures have chosen to maintain the incident as a gaping wound. Among the worst has been Democratic VP candidate @SenKamalaHarris
@JoeBiden @ChrisCoons @DNC @TomPerez To my knowledge @SenKamalaHarris has not renounced this slander. This means, in my opinion, that she should be disqualified from consideration as the Democratic VP candidate in 2020. Especially in 2020 when America needs United’s not dividers
@tonymess Number 5: Despite the overwhelming evidence St Louis SA chose voluntarily to reopen this case. And failed to find anything new those again subjecting the community, the country, and, importly, Darren Wilson to unnecessary & cruel trauma.
@tonymess Number 6: For that @WesleyBell4STL should be held accountable. How much wealth was expended? What was the predication? Were there ethical violations? Mike Brown’s family was not exclusively entitled to their preferred justice. America had a claim to actual justice.
