It is genuinely confusing to me that some of my friends and colleagues do not want to claim recent victories.
After the Biden and Sanders campaigns convened, adopted and improved on the recommendations of an AOC co-chaired task force some have suggested that Biden isn't moving left and that his plan does not include the substantive influence of the Green New Deal.
This is wrong on the merits and narrative. More concerning, it's self-defeating.
