Martinez on leaving Argentina to have a trial at Arsenal as a teenager: “I saw my brother and mum cry, saying, 'Please don't go'. But I had also seen my dad crying late at night because he could not pay the bills. So I had to be brave at the time, because I said “yes” for them.”
Martinez on where Arsenal are as a club: “Fans saying trust Arteta and they think that the problem is the board but it’s not. They all support us, it’s just we are having 2, 3 bad seasons and the good thing is that we will come back. That’s the good thing.”
