🚩BREAKING🚩: Is @AdrianaLaGrange quietly using the cover of the pandemic to match #AbEd private school funding to public schools? 🤔

Is the @CMOH_Alberta, perhaps unwittingly, being exploited to help promote newly-advantaged private schools in the process? (A thread)
Keen observers noted that in this @CBCCalgary article of the @AdrianaLaGrange and @CMOH_Alberta Q&A, Dr. H seems to promote "private schools" that deliver a "blended homeschool model".

But Dr. H never actually used the words "private school"....
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/back-to-school-alberta-q-a-1.5666839
... and "blended homeschool models" exist in both public and private schools, so it's odd to be mentioning only one.

How did @CBCCalgary attribute "private school" options to @CMOH_Alberta despite her never using them?

Could @CBCCalgary comment?
...
In Alberta, private schools are funded at 70% of public/Catholic/francophone/charter schools. @AdrianaLaGrange 's press secretary has said as recently as February 2020 that this won't change....
In April 2020, Alberta Education released their new Funding Model. It shows that, base instruction for private schools is indeed at 70%...but there's this other line item for "Shared Responsibility Home Schooling" that exists for both Public and Private, which is $700 for both..
So, $700 for both public and private, doesn't seem like a big deal...

But Between April - June, Alberta Education was working to update the funding model. A new one was released in June, with one significant change... see if you can spot it...
The June funding model increased the Shared Responsibility funding from $700 to up to $4244 (depending on grade)

Private schools got 100% of their in-school funding for blended home school.

Public schools got only 70%
So private schools are at no disadvantage for blended homeschooling during a pandemic - and the @CMOH_Alberta perhaps unwittingly, seem to be promoting this...

Public schools also offer blended homeschooling, but are disadvantaged at 70% of funding.🤔
