Hey, pretty sure that this is against Twitter's rules?
Also, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that headline.
Erickson's running around like, "Won't someone rid me of these meddlesome journalists?"
Here's the tweet if anyone doubts that it's real: https://twitter.com/EWErickson/status/1288926879320285184
Not to mention that this is just gibberish.

"Repent." Fuck off, man.

Also, he almost certainly got it at the Trump rally. In theory it's *possible* he got it somewhere after the rally, but the timeline fits and there are few higher risk places than with 6k people indoors
Everyone with half a brain leading up to Trump's Tulsa rally: That's a bad idea that's going to get people killed.

Trumpists: NUH-UH. Also, we're not wearing masks!

[the thing that everyone with half a brain warned would happen happens]

Trumpists: Total mystery what happened.
Is it sad for Cain's friends and family that he died? Of course. But everyone was trying to warn people that HOLDING A GIANT INDOOR RALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC WAS DANGEROUS.
Like, Trump's campaign was sitting there churning out content making fun of Biden for having an event where reporters were very spread out while Trump proved he wasn't afraid of the virus or some shit.
All the while, Cain's Twitter account was trying to downplay how dangerous the virus was, cheering on people who didn't wear masks, etc.

I know it's hard to believe this, but those of us concerned about the pandemic aren't just playing 4-D political chess.
We genuinely just want people to be safe, for people to stop spreading the virus with their recklessness.
