It’s a shame that YouTube are taking away community-made subtitles. It isn’t financially or practically viable for me to have my videos subtitled in languages other than English I’m afraid, I’ve relied on kind volunteers to do foreign language subs until now 😢
My videos will still be subtitled in English - I either do those myself or pay a service if I'm rushing/have episode budget for it. Uploading, approving, and tweaking subs (e.g. to add the hidden jokes) takes a fair bit of time
I’ll look into paying for subs in a few languages - I know I have a lot of fans in Brazil for instance; maybe I can spring for for Brazilian Portuguese? Essa é uma boa ideia? ☺️🇧🇷 Oder vielleicht Deutsch?
'Men, Abuse, Trauma' has been translated into over 20 languages. I couldn't afford half that and the other half aren't available. Kindhearted people voluntarily added subs cause they wanted to share free education with others; it's a shame YT are stopping this 😢
