Some personal news: tomorrow is my last day at Google. I'm so grateful for the experiences, opportunities, and friends I've made during the past three years.
From helping startups get going with K8s and machine learning
To hearing about how older companies are modernizing the way they get work done
I learned so much about how products can be built, what works, and what doesn't
I was able to travel. An overnight cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki! A developer meetup in a converted container park in Shoreditch!
I had the opportunity to (finally) learn to code (badly) and was mentored and coached by Google DevRel. These humans were generous with their time, with their knowledge, with their perspective.
I had Directors and VPs believe in me and tell me I could give a keynote to an audience of 30,000 when I had never done public speaking before.
I was humbled to work with some of the most optimistic, creative writers, designers and community builders.
Talented people trusted me enough to manage them and their careers.
Founders allowed me to tell stories about their products and companies.
I'm still not entirely sure what I did to deserve all of the wonderful things that I experienced, but I'll treasure them for the rest of my life.
