Didn't muslims just celebrate Eid not that long ago?

Short thread on Eid-ul- Adha 🙌🏽
Each year Muslims celebrate both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. They are just over 2 months apart and will always be. However, the dates change as majority Islamic countries follow the lunar calendar. Therefore, dates go back by 11 days.
Eid-al-Fitr is the first of two Eids. It rounds off the month of Ramadan, which Muslims observe every year to acknowledge Allah’s revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The celebration of Eid-ul-Adha is to commemorate Prophet Abrahim’s devotion to God and his readiness to sacrifice his son, Ismail
The act of Qurbani (sacrifise) consists of slaughtering an animal as a sacrifice to mark this occasion in remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim’s sacrifice.
The sacrificial animal must be a sheep, lamb, goat, cow, bull or a camel. The Qurbani meat can then divided into three equal portions per share; one-third is for you and your family, one-third is for friends, and the final third is to be donated to those in need.
Eid ul-Adha also happens to fall on the last day of the Hajj. The Hajj is pilgrimage to Makkah in Saudi Arabia. It occurs every year and is the Fifth Pillar of Islam (and therefore very important.
