to pick up on social cues and he feels bad when he says something out of line. It’s also implied he is a victim of csa..... and trauma is a constant cycle until someone puts a stop to it. When he wants to make someone happy, it’s only natural for him to say shit like (2/?)
“i want to touch someone sinfully,” or something because THAT’S ALL HE’S ever really known. When he gets called out and corrected, he makes efforts to change. He doesn’t like the way that he is guys and people who don’t like him don’t bother paying attention to that (3/?)
Of course I am not saying what mayoi is saying or doing is okay. But going as far as to call him a p/do? or a fucking sh/tacon?

i swearrrrr when severely traumatized characters don’t act like their stereotypes you all go making allegations that they’re some freak and that’s totally ableist. please read the stories. mayoi is such a realistically written character and i love him so much
ALSO ALSO i think mayoi likes child-like things because he sees them as innocent because he’s never got to expirence innocents himself. he also communicates with his underclassmen because he has a hard time communicating and talking in simplistic phrases is easier for him!!!
