Like everybody I'm worried about what he'll do to keep himself in office and what he'll do if he loses. But there are things that I keep in mind...

One is he just says stuff. For a variety of reasons. But everything he says he says to call attention to himself, make his base cheer, make everybody else mad

Another thing is he has no follow-through. He loses interest or he loses his nerve or something else pops into his head that interests or excites him more.

He also seems to think that just saying something or signing something is all he needs to do. Presidenting for him has always been a matter of giving orders and then being stunned when those orders aren't followed

And he has no real fight in him. Jimmy Breslin pegged him decades ago. He's a loudmouth who couldn't fight his way out of a vacant lot
