I started from scratch with no prior knowledge about Twitter.

1. Find a niche you're interested in.
For me, I choose to talk about money, motivation, and growth in general.
Diving deeper into that niche comes Affiliate Marketing.

2. Your bio, banner, and profile picture.
You have to optimize them appropriately with reference to the niche you're in.
I shall touch deeper on it in the next few tweets!

2.1 Your Banner
A picture speaks a thousand words.
People need to know what you're doing on this side of Twitter.
The text on it must relate to what you do.
You can use Canva to make yours like how I did for mine!

2.2 Your Bio
Your bio should tell people what value can they get from you if they followed you.
An example would be @CureIncome's bio, it's sleek and to the point.

I would highly recommend you to use a picture of yourself.
It gives off a more professional vibe IMO
But
If you're like me and wish to remain anonymous for now or forever, you may use an avatar or simply, any image that resonates with your profile.

3. Engaging with the community
By engaging I meant
- Your comments need to contain value in it.
- Quote RT from bigger accounts.
- Add some personal touch to your tweets

4. How do I go about engaging?
A) Add account of various sizes to a list.
Use it to help you narrow down so you can engage with their tweets as soon as they post it!
B) Click on the little star icon, change it to 'Latest Tweets'

5. My daily routine
- Comment 30 to 50 times
- 3/4 tweets
- 8-10 Quote Retweets
I find that these works the best for me, feel free to tweak it however you like!
I would recommend focusing mainly on commenting and quote retweets when you're starting out.

For me, I note down my everyday activities on Twitter in Google Docs
I think it's highly important to know your metrics so you have a rough gauge of what works for you.

Connect with people and make friends!
Those are real people behind the accounts, not bots.
Being genuine goes a long way.
