SWALLOW is a tremendous work, excavating one woman's deeply unhealed trauma and exploring her eating disorder called Pica. Haley Bennett as Hunter Conrad is a vision, and this one really crawls under the skin. It's also expertly and beautifully shot.
THE LODGE is a total mind trip. Perception is everything. Riley Keough gives a superstar turn as Grace Marshall, an outsider to a new family, and she must not only navigate this family's grief but her new role. Her emotional performance really pounds hard.
Oh, and I hate kids.
