This tweet is meant to be helpful! A few things I have come across whilst posting casting calls over the last few years which will help talent when applying to others.
1) First, please call me by my name, not miss, who it may concern, madam, Nicola, Sir. Please call me Nicole
1) First, please call me by my name, not miss, who it may concern, madam, Nicola, Sir. Please call me Nicole

2) Please put a body of text about who you are and what you're doing at the moment! Don't just send me a link to your work or, worse, just headshots/CV. I want to know who you are!
3) don't apply for the role if you aren't suitable. Make sure to read all the requirements! I read all emails that come in and if you don't fit the bill because you are the opposite of what I've advertised, then it'll be in the bin (sorry!)
4) on the above, it is lovely to get emails from people who want to introduce themselves to me for any other roles. But you may get lost in my inbox so please keep in contact with me on here!

5) I know some things aren't always paid, so it's understandable, but if you are invited to an audition and do not turn up, then it doesn't put you in the good books. Please just send an email! Its not hard
just a quick one is fine!

If I have more, I'll let you know. Please also follow @sydneyamee who is an ace CD if you don't already.
