Thread for any Thistle fans thinking of boycotting away grounds. I’d far rather be there supporting the team but definitely a few clubs I’d struggle to give any money to
My working assumptions are that Falkirk, East Fife, Stranraer and Edinburgh City voted against ending the season but aware that I’m missing a club that either abstained or voted no.
For reconstruction there were four teams who indicated support in League 1 according to press reports. Thistle, Falkirk, Peterhead and Forfar were all publicly in favour. As the vote was indicative there might be others who would have voted yes in an actual vote
Airdrie - their statements have been bizarre but they definitely voted to end the season and appear to have not supported 14-10-10-10. Would be on any boycott list
Clyde - voted to end the season and opposed reconstruction. Would be high on any boycott list
Cove Rangers - not been able to verify but a few people on Twitter adamant that they supported reconstruction. Did vote to end the season. Probably not on my boycott list as I do have sympathy for the position they were put in
Dumbarton - voted to end the season and opposed reconstruction. Would be on the boycott list
East Fife - voted against relegation. Can’t find any statement on reconstruction but wouldn’t be on any boycott list for me
Falkirk - also shafted by end of season vote and lack of reconstruction. No reason to boycott
Forfar Athletic - obviously their initial comments around the vote to end season were offensive but subsequently supported reconstruction so not on my boycott list
Montrose - I can find nothing on their official site or from other sources but just based on the numbers it looks very likely they voted to end the season and opposed reconstruction. Would be on a boycott list
Peterhead - strong and vocal supporter of reconstruction so not on boycott list
