It’s natural, it’s instinctive, it’s their gift. And when, in a league that’s been shorowded in cheating and controversy, you cheat the game and steal a championship(s), sponsorships, and post season earnings from your colleges there are consequences. There HAS to be....
MLB didn’t punish any Astros player, so it’s up to the players to police the game. Is it right? No. Ethical? No. But, it’s how it has to be done. When you cheat the game, you pay the price. In all professions that is what happens, and in baseball that means you get thrown at...
My point being, when you play at a high level you realize how thin the margins are. How close a bad/average/great players/teams are. And when you cheat, there is retribution. @MichaelBaumann love your writing, just giving you another perpestive. All the best.
