Some other findings from the national survey we just completed yesterday not in the release.

Andrew Scheer remains deeply unpopular.

While WE has hurt the PM, it hasn't helped Mr. Scheer's image at all.
Nor has it really helped Mr. Singh either. While his image is by far the most favourable of the three leaders (in terms of Net favourability), he hasn't been able to gain much traction.
The Liberal accessible voter pool has shrunk but it's still 7 points larger than either the Conservative or NDP pool. The opposition parties haven't expanded the audience.
Given the Liberals seem more vulnernable than they have been since the pandemic started, the Conservative Leadership race hasn't done much to improve either @PeterMacKay or @ErinOTooleMP's images. Both have net negative impressions among all Canadians.
Somewhat ironic that the Liberals have the largest lead among 18 to 29-year-olds when the effort to help young Canadians with the student volunteer program has caused the political damage.
The government continues to perform well on responding to the pandemic, communicating, and representing Canada internationally. But ethics and managing the debt/deficit are where more Canadians feel performance is lacking.
Here's the overall comparison of views of political leaders in Canada and the US. Trudeau still the most popular of the choices we have or might have.
