Good morning! This is your daily reminder to contact your representatives and advocate for the USPS.

How? Ask that USPS be included in the next relief package. This is non-negotiable.

Please ask that USPS get the relief funds it deserves. No strings attached.

Also ask your Senators to call for a vote for the USPS Fairness Act. This will repeal the pre-funding mandate from the 2006 Postal Accountability Act, which forced the USPS to have billions of dollars on hand for retirements 75 years in the future. It's been a debt poison pill...
Did you know that the USPS Fairness Act has already passed the House?

It's now languishing in Senate.

Please press your senators to push for a vote.

MORE:
Ask your reps to investigate the new PMG DeJoy. Investigate his financial conflicts of interests and also investigate his new policies. For example, the most recent policy of shutting down post offices might be in violation of federal law.
We need to hold him accountable.

Also remind your reps that you value a free & fair election. This should go without saying, but this AM the president suggested moving the election b/c of unsubstantiated voter fraud beliefs. This is simply not true. PLEASE ask your reps to denounce Trump's abhorrent suggestion.
And finally:
If you see a letter carrier or postal worker today, please be kind! They are under enormous stress and pressure and they put their lives on the line every day to provide your mail and packages. It is a critical American service. Let's keep it that way. #SaveTheUSPS
