The worst qtr to qtr drop in GDP during the Great Recession was in the 4th qtr of 2008 - an 8.4% decline. Worst in modern history? A 10% drop during the 1st qtr of 1958. This 32.9% drop under the Trump Admin is now the worst in modern U.S. history. This could've all been avoided.
We all know that protecting and enforcing our nation's fair housing laws expands opportunities for everyone. It promotes stability and results in better education & health outcomes for our children. Eliminating racial inequality would make us a more productive society.
By rolling back fair housing and other civil & human rights protections, the Trump Administration is worsening our economy, making us less productive, increasing housing instability, and causing the COVID-19 pandemic to drag on putting more lives at risk!
