Hajj pilgrims climb this mountain on 9th dhul hijjah.
Climbing this mountain and Duas being done here are important part of Hajj.
As said by prophet Muhammad (ﷺ): “Hajj is Arafat.” [al-Hakim]

Some historical events tht took place on mount Arafat are :-
This is the same mountain where Allah swt tested Prophet Ibrahim's faith by commanding him to sacrifice his son Ismail.

This is the same place where Prophet Adam and Hawa also met each on earth..
Thus it's very important to visit Mount Arafat during hajj ,If anyone fails to do so then his/her Piligrimage is invalid.
All piligrims Spend their time in praying , seeking repentance, listening to various hadiths and speeches from Renowned Islamic scholars till the sunset.
After sunset all of them arrive towards mina where they are supposed to perform the ritual of stonning devil

Hajj is one of 5 pillars of Islam in Muslim's life.
And evry Muslim who can afford has to perform hajj once in a life.
Though this year many those who had booked tickets and wanted to perform hajj couldn't go due to Corona virus.
Inşallah we will perform it next year..
