Dwarkadhish temple / Jagat temple, Dwarka, distt. Devbhoomi Dwarka, Gujarat

One of the most popular temples in Gujarat, Dwarkadish temple is one dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is located on the banks of Gomati River which further joins the Arabian Sea.
The basic design reflects the Chalukhyan style of architecture and the five-storied structure was built in the 19th century. An interesting fact about the temple is that Dwarkadish Temple has two gateways called as Swarga Dwar (gate to heavens) & Moksha Dwar (gate to liberation)
Devotees have to climb 56 steps to enter through Swarg Dwar and exit through Moksha Dwar.
