Looking at the texts we've been getting in today, I'm going to suggest the scale of furlough fraud that's been going on these past few months is mindblowing.... Everyone seems to have a story.
A sample....

"Hi my partner's boss furloughed all of his staff but he has had them all working for extra pay. It is a building company. My partner hasn't worked but because of this we think he is going to lose his job. We don't know what to do."
"I know someone who was on furlough for 3 months but worked her normal shifts right the way through. Her employer asked her to and she did it willingly. What is the government doing to root out this fraud?"
"Furlough has been brilliant for me personally even though I've worked periodically - I know I shouldn't have but didn't want to appear
too militant towards my employer. I'm sure many employers have bent the rules and effectively had 'free' work from employees"
