How to properly fold a shirt for travel, courtesy of my trauma from seeing so many badly packed shirts:
Step one: button ALL the buttons
Step two: find a flat surface
Step three: lay the shirt out as flat as possible, buttons down
Step four: fold the damned sleeves thusly - folding from the seam.
Step five: holding the shirt and sleeves at the shoulder and hem, fold into thirds
Step six: folding up from the bottom, fold the shirt into thirds again
Enjoy your perfectly folded shirts.
I've owned that brown shirt for over five years and never ironed it because I fold, wash, dry, and store all my shirts carefully so that I don't have to iron them. Because ironing sucks and I refuse to do it.
Folding your shirts properly also makes packing WAY easier.
