The middle and upper class left-wing white and BAME Guardian set have literally groomed their own children for activist academics by politicising them throughout their childhoods and neglecting their cultural and spiritual needs. They need to reflect on their behaviour, the
intellectually vacuous nature of their 'progressivism' and the shortcomings of their liberal parenting/educating model. It's not for members of civil society to silently acquiesce to the children they failed to raise. The postmodern social justice theories they religiously follow
are pseudo-intellectual attempts to make-up for failed socialisation through politicisation of children and adults. The young activists need to grow up and resolve their personal issues and insecurities. Their parents can just stop the ridiculous pretence that they have any kind
of handle on this - the rest of us know they don't. As for those who are falling over themselves to implement this in education. It's pretty clear that they don't know or understand these theories and ideas. If they have fallen for them like the young activists then two remedies
are available - a) if young - same advice as young activists and b) if older - grow up out of the Peter Pan state they've remained in before it damages the career they have carefully built up. And trust me it will do just this. I know people who are afraid of calling out the
'antiracism' the POMO SJ peddle because they don't want to discredit the term as they are antiracist in the liberal sense themselves. I do think there should be a better term for it - reverse antiracism, regressive antiracism.... DM me something better. #standyourground
What 'work' am I doing for the antiracism I believe in? I am going to think about the time spent teaching/discussing/ analysing and see if it can be improved. I'm also going to not let perfect be the enemy of the good in all this.
