The Jewish position is that property owned by a Polish jew who left no heirs should be given to the international jewish community, and that America should pressure/compel Poland into accepting the Jewish position. The UK parliament is putting pressure on Poland as well.

Since 2014, Poland has given pensions worth 7.5 billion US dollars to holocaust survivors. Recipients do not need to reside in Poland or be Polish citizens.
The same day this report was released by the US state department, the British government reaffirmed its support for Holocaust-era property restitution in Poland.
