So, let's say that neighbors in ur locality don't like u. Should govt take over ur house and not allow u any right over ur temple? Coz, as per the 1951 agreement between Union n Maharaja, this temple is not even a mere pvt temple but pvt property of the Maharaja. https://twitter.com/Shreyas_Mysuru/status/1288729714329137152
Including the kitchen, car shed, the mahAvrShabha etc.. govt takeover of private property is exactly what has happened in this case. If this can be justified, then tomorrow govt can take over pujagrha of a popular sadhaka. Kindly look at facts by giving examples
Finally, the Maharaja can still hv a veto over the trust while enabling daily administration of temple thru a local community elected board which should be bound by the SOP provided by him. Most of the temples of Tharananellur family in Kerala r managed so.
And they r some of the best managed temples in Kerala. Not just that family, several other family owned temples have similar structures. U seem 2 be under d notion dat answers form exist. Rather i say that people r blind to d answers dat stares in their faces
Finally, abt political vs legal issue. If the political powers r indeed interested, they should at least begin a dialogue. I am not seeing it happening anywhere. N if u say that all legal outcomes r indeed affected by party in power, then many judgements show govt in poor light
Be that as it may, if u think that mere politics is the way out without any need for legal pressure, pls try ur hand at it. We are not stopping u. OTOH, we believe in both options - lobbying with govt as well as approaching legal forums. Exactly what d other side has always done
*any control over ur house?
