The Hindu Massacre in Ayodhya!

'One day, Karsevak suddenly got up and went to Ayodhya and demolished the disputed structure' .
The history of Ram temple is not such a simple and easy.
When the peaceful demand of Ram Mandir protest got crushed under bullets by government

++
there had no choice left to the devotees, but to carry hammer and chisel next time they do protest!

In 1992,Disputed structure was demolished in Ayodhya and a new page was added to the independent history of India. But, there were many brutal incident and stories before this
+
event.
Many Hindu Dharma organizations had been raising their voices for the Ram Mandir from so many years in a peaceful way. In 1990, the then Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav responded to the demand of the Karsevaks as,

+
"(Babri) will not be touched by even an feather of a bird!"( In short, Ram Mandir is impossible dream )
[ "(बाबरी) मस्जिद पर परिंदा भी पर नहीं मार सकेगा ! "]

Millions of Hindus were hurt by Mulayam Singh Yadav's statement. In response, Devotees of Ram decided to go for the

++
pecaseful march( Satyagraha ) for Ram temple in Ayodhya in November, 1990. Thousands of Karsevaks from all over the country gathered in for peaceful protest in Ayodhya,but the destiny had different plans for them.
On one side, Ayodhya's peaceful Satyagraha started and on the

++
other side, then Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav gave a complete free hand to the police to crush that event. No devotees of Ram were carrying a gun or any kind of weapon at that time.

The police cordoned off the entire Area of protest and started inhuman firing.

++
Several police entered the Houses and opened fire on Mahanata's. Unarmed Karsevaks were fired upon indiscriminately.
The shooting was as horrific and brutal as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
According to the first-sighted people, firing were going on wherever one could see

++
someone wearing saffron..

The city of Ayodhya was covered in blood that day.Countless tear gas and fireballs were fired in the small streets of Ayodhya. No account was kept of how many bullets and how much tear gas were used.

The pile of dead people was so large that

++
trucks had to be called to take them away.
Many corpses were tied up with the sacks and thrown into the river Sharu in fear of not to be caught by burning. Many Hindu devotees corpses were buried. Several bodies whose sacks were loosened were later found floating in the river

+
Sharu.

The massacre was so horrific that the wives of the officers and police staged a protest.They had lodged a written complaint with the Faizabad Commissioner to stop all these massacres .

On November 3, 1990, the whole Ayodhya observed a strict shutdown against this

++
brutal incident and so does many other cities.
There, in Delhi, thousands of Swayamsevaks surrounded the house of Prime Minister Vishwanathji.

On the 4th, a meeting was held at Karol Bagh (Delhi) with thousands of activists under the leadership of Sir Sangh Chalak Seshadri.

++
Here, Sir Sangh Chalak had announced the creation of 'Ayodhya Hutatma Nidhi' to help the families of the victims.

A huge meeting was held in Delhi on 7th which included Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Bajrang Dal, Shri Ram Kar Seva Samiti, Bharatiya Janata
Party, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sangh and the many other Sangh. All of them paid homage to these martyrs for peace.

The incident became so political that Mulayam Singh Yadav resigned as Chief Minister within a few days.
And in the subsequent

++
elections, the BJP came in power with a majority and the next year, history of demolition happened!

According to UP's Official Record, only 18 people were killed in that massacre !!

According to Hindu Sabha figures, the death toll is 500 !!!

The Hindu Mahasabha

++
themselves had cremated 78.

It's so, unfortunate that we all know about 2002, but, hardly we knew anything about 1990.

So, let's hope that the souls of these hundreds of martyrs will find peace when they see the construction of the Ram temple is in process.
