Here’s something unpopular:
IMO at this point in time, the single greatest threat to followers of Jesus Christ, His Gospel and His Church are the wolves among us. Notice how subtle that wolf is. You have to have eyes wide open to discern who moves among the flock. Devouring.
Some are intentional. Others are ignorant. Either way they have to be discerned and either corrected or rooted out.

Be very careful who you listen to. Podcasts. FB groups. IG accounts. Twitter accounts. Therapists. Authors. Musicians. Celebrities. In and out of the Church.
Even Church ‘affiliated’ publications and organizations. Anything other than the scriptures themselves and messages from the Q15 past and present should be measured against the standard of living prophets and apostles.

Too often, the larger a following becomes, the more
likely it is to morph and pan to the crowd. Gotta get more ‘likes’.

If someone is making $$ off their Church ‘product’ tread carefully and be skeptical regardless of who is marketing them.

I think this often happens unintentionally. But that doesn’t negate its destructive
influence on the celebrities or their followers/admirers.

Trust Christ. Trust His ordained chosen leaders.

Purge anything that teaches anything contrary to those standards. No matter how appealing the product. Including cheap grace rather than real grace, progressivism,
feminism, many paths, and individual interpretations and exceptions.

Be righteous, humble, teachable, repentant, convicted, determined, faithful.

Faithfulness not wokeness is what He asks of us. No matter what others try to tell you. Nehor was popular because he preached
what was appealing, and what he preached was false and wrested the scriptures. 2 Peter 3
Alma 13. Wresting the scriptures was a problem back then. It still is today.
