My general impression is that there's definitely a willingness to listen to Richmonders among some members, mostly women. Plenty of members were critical of Dunn, and open to info about Japharii Jones being not so great (again, it seemed to mostly be the women in the group)

There was a lot of (valid, imo) frustration with being blamed for the property damage on Saturday. Regardless of how you feel about BLM757 or the boog bois, it's simply false to say they caused the damage, or the confrontation with RPD, based on what I saw OTG, and read later

Overall, 757 seems like a mix of violent, misogynistic, transphobic, etc. dudes, and decent people who genuinely want to work with Richmonders
They also seem generally less radical than Richmond folks: anti-riot, pro-peace policing, non-autonomous, etc.

It would be great if 757 folks were invited to a #ReclamationRevival teach-in, on the condition of no guns and no boog bois

This teach-in could focus on:
a) clarifying the narrative about Saturday, and bringing attention to how Stoney + RPD have distorted it
b) letting Richmond and 757 both explain their goals, philosophies, practices, etc.
c) pairing up RVA and 757 folks to have some dialogue

d) finally, a mediated dialogue to work out how RVA and 757 can work together, e.g. respect autonomy, no peace police, don't bring in the boog bois, no bigots, etc.

Some of BLM757 really would be good allies IMO, but there needs to be a way to talk w/ them w/out the more unpleasant people getting in the way
I don't have much experience with them, so if others know more, please share, and let me know if you think this is a good idea :)
