In one day we spent THOUSANDS. We pay rental of the venue, equipments, paycheck for daily/hourly contract staffs, caterers, electric fees, transportations. This is not about our already existing paycheck. It’s the on-going spending that will later be paid back with your tickets.

And also, even when we do get the money from the ticket we did not get to keep it for long. That money, that “profit” will be used for future production. Okay, so you hate Pledis. Okay, so you won’t want to give your money to the company. But think of the boys, SVT members.

Of course you won’t care about us crews who lifts those heavy stage lightings, those who runs here and there with papers to ensure a smooth event. Those who had to sit for meetings hours and hours for weeks, months just so that you fans get to enjoy the 3 hours you get with SVT.

Sure don’t give a fuck about us who had to discuss about SVT makeup, clothes, setlist, stage setting and display, graphic artist, editors, sound engineers and all those back stage off camera crews. But maybe perhaps you can think of the boys. They practice for hours.

They go through rehearsals after rehearsals, sweating, tired and trying not to get injured or sick. They wake up early and go back late just so that you get to sit a comfortable bestest 3 hours of your time, with your snacks and drinks with no hiccups.

If you have no space to care about us staffs and crews who work along the success of your boys, who are ALREADY UNDERPAID, think of those artists you adore that worked so hard. Buy the tickets and support them right. It’s the LEAST you could do.

If we failed with our content, we do get upset. But we’ll be able to get back up again and work harder. But if you STOLE our already produced hardwork by streaming illegally. There’s NOTHING we can do to get it back. It’s already something we lost, the support we deserve to earn.

If you can’t buy it due to circumstances, ask around. Maybe you can share a ticket/an account. If you can afford it, please buy the ticket by yourself. If you can’t think for the stupid company that is Pledis, it you can’t think for us staffs and crews, then think for SVT.

Also, if you intend to go illegal anyways, shut the fuck up and keep it to yourself. There’s nothing to be proud about with stealing. We dont want to know about it: You think SVT would be like “Damn, our fans are badass/edgy for doing so.” No. You just cut off the boys’ bonuses.

Remember this: Pledis may manage and control the boys. But with more profit and success the boys bring in, the more power and control they have over the company. We want Pledis to be scared of losing the boys, not to be more of a bitch.

The last think you want is Pledis going “you can’t even sell your online fanmeet well, and you’re asking to do this and that?” to SVT. Yeah. If you can’t spend to support the entire Caratland production team, the least is to at least spend to support the boys you adore.

I’m tweeting this not just for Caratland but for you to think and consider whenever you’re about to consume FREE ILLEGAL art produce. Make it a song, video, films, art prints, anything. Those are the things that someone has worked so hard on. They put everything into it.

If you can support them by paying, then do so. We who work in this industry need it to survive just like any other 9-5 or commercial job. Aside from those glitz and glamor facade, we’re actually striving with difficulty to get by.

I’m not a known person in the industry, but I filmed a lot of films. And the shortest film I worked on was less than 10 mins in duration and it has cost me about 10k. Imagine how it is with a big worldwide event and with a group as known as SVT. Please. Don’t stream illegally.

I beg you. Buy the tickets if you could. It’s the cheapest ticket you could possibly ever get for a fanmeet/concert ever with SVT. Be grateful of what we managed to get in this pandemic. Support the industry. Support the hardwork. Support the boys.

Also, one more thing. Don’t be discouraged about missing out Caratland. With the culture nowadays, I see we fear of missing out a lot, while actually it’s okay. It’s alright. So what you missed Caratland? You still get free contents and comebacks from the boys time to time.

Trust me, no idols out there spoiled their fans more than SVT. The boys are just way too generous when it comes to content. Don’t do what is wrong just for the sake of not wanting to miss out. Don’t make yourself suffer over such mentality. It’s toxic.

In case you wonder, I’ve been working in the industry since 2012. I’ve done films, live shows, news, work with artists. I have gone through so much shit with people stealing an artist artwork and a production content illegally. It’s frustrating, heartbreaking and discouraging.

Please. Don’t stream contents or get art illegally. And don’t be proud if you’re able to do (and provide it) so either. Respect us who worked so hard on this. Think of the artists and all who has made it. Thank you.

Oh, yeah. Sorry but I had to add this. You KNOW there will be Caratland each year. So you should’ve be saving your money for it. What’s your excuse really? You’ve spent it on albums? Merch? Then that’s your problem. Set your priorities or save harder, I guess.

If you don’t know how to buy the tickets, there are helpful Carats everywhere. You just need to ask and look around. Stop being a fucking asshole and blame it’s capitalism all the time.

Some of you said SVT/Pledis gets money from BH. They’re investing their money as the biggest shareholder coz they trust SVT (and any artists under Pledis). If SVT can’t deliver in sales, bringing it targeted profit in the year- you think BH will give them more budget to spend on?
