This is a good time to make a plan for how you plan to vote. Does your state offer absentee voting without a reason? Does it offer it with a reason, and do you have a reason? Does it allow early voting? Knowing all these things will help you plan, and planning will help a lot.
Also: What options do you have to check on the status of your absentee ballot application or your ballot itself? What is the safest way to get your vote counted if you lay out all the steps? What are the most common reasons ballots are rejected, and how can you avoid them?
States vary enormously. When I lived in Oregon, it was all by mail and nobody was remotely fazed by it. And it was much easier. But almost everywhere, planning will help, compared to not.
