Interviewees told Amnesty about particular challenges for two groups of #Yezidi child survivors: former child soldiers & girls subjected to sexual violence. #Iraq #ISIS
"I was forced to fight. I had to do it or die. I didn't have any other option."

- Saher, forcibly recruited at age 15.

More than half of the 14 ex child soldiers interviewed told Amnesty they hadn't received any support --psychosocial, health, financial-- after their return.
“I was a child when they made me marry. They made me suffer. I want my future to be better.”

- Randa, a 14-year-old girl who was in IS captivity for five years.

Amnesty found that existing services/ programmes for survivors of sexual violence have largely neglected girls.
