feeling like shit right now is a feature and not a bug. it's the absolute most reasonable response and you shouldn't beat yourself up about it
if it feels like you shouldnt be feeling bad because you have a roof over your head/enough money for groceries/no one you know has died, you may be trying to push away what is called disenfranchised grief, the kinds of loss that our society does not value or make room for
we are living through a terrible, terrible time. everything is falling apart, everything is hard and annoying and scary and infuriating. you are allowed to feel bad about bad things, even if they are happening to other people.
the eternal question is, what are you going to do with what you feel? you dont have to push it down or make it go away. this is a time of rage and change, re-evaluation, rest, and connection.
what kind of monster would feel very, very good right now?
