I've seen some TPN fans comparing Norman to Hitler, even calling him Mini Hitler. Like, no? It makes me sad whenever I see comments or posts like this. Why would you compare Norman to Hitler, when Norman's circumstances were completely different in the first place? (1/5)
First of all: Unlike the innocent people who were killed during WW2, the demons were a real threat to the humans living in the demon world. They used to kill them, eat them, and held them for horrible experimental purposes (like in Norman's case). (2/5)
Norman was traumatized, being experimented on and living with the fact that death could come to him anytime. He also has seen the mass production farms. He did all of this for his family and also for humanity's sake as a whole. He wanted a world where Emma could smile. (3/5)
And please don't forget that in truth he DIDN'T want to kill the demons und commit genocide. To him, and to almost everyone else, it was the most logical way to reach their goal. Normal almost died inside. But Emma showed him a different path. (4/5)
Sorry, but you can't tell me that going through such horrifying experiences will leave you completely unaffected. Norman's just a human after all, just like Cislo said on chapter 154. He's such a well-written character and deserves all the love he can get! (5/5)
