Do you know why it's insulting for the writers to add a sexist quote for Noob to say?

It's because it was unnecessary and didn't even make sense contextually. You could say that him saying "I would not allow female Lin Kuei" to Frost was to rile her up (which it was), but it's-

-also the matter of why add that in the first place?

Female ninja and assassins existed all throughout history. Ninja are not male exclusive, and probably weren't in the MK universe either. Noob has no reason to say that line.

The biggest problem is that I've had-

-men argue with me about this online, which is absurd. They do not understand how MK11 writers adding sexist quotes affects me as a woman who is also heavily into video games. I, and many other women, have had to deal with men calling names and saying horrible, nasty things-

-just because I am a girl who was into first person shooters or games like MK. Some think that bc MK11 has sexist tones like that, that it must be okay, bc they're a big and successful company. That bothers me. It wouldn't hurt NRS *at all* to leave out controversial things like-

-that. So for NRS to add that quote, unprompted, for no reason at all, to a character I love, is a kick in the gut. I'm sure a lot of other MK women feel the same way with other examples in MK11 with this.-

-Some of the men in this community either don't understand this, or they won't and don't care to try. From a woman's perspective, this is how I feel, and if you do try to understand my pov, thank you. But there are still so many who don't realize that unnecessary lines like this-

-are harmful and honestly irritating.

The fact that ppl have argued and tried to say "Well MK has fatalities and those are worse" is ridiculous, because that's not targeting a group of ppl. Women are sick of being treated like shit in the MK community, I can promise you that. -

-And sure there are other problems with the community too, I'm not speaking on behalf of any of that, I'm just communicating my issue with WHY it's hurtful that NRS added sexist things like what I spoke about.

Sure it's just one line perhaps, but understand that if you are-

-a man and brushing this off as nonsense, then you just don't get it.

Anyway, rant over. Please leave legitimate responses if you're going to comment, I'd rather not spend my energy arguing with ppl who don't even want to open their mind to this issue.
