My parents both fought in World War II. My father in RAF Bomber Command and my mother manning an anti-aircraft battery in the ATS. Before they signed up, when they came of age, they had been bombed by the Germans.
After the war, and what I remember of my early childhood in 1950’s England was hardly a life of luxury- we raised (and ate) chickens and thought of rabbits as a delicacy. I have classic bad British teeth because my parents couldn’t afford a dentist
So I have some difficulty in understanding how wearing a mask when you go to a grocery store is somehow considered an undue hardship
Be thankful somebody isn’t trying to actively kill you and wear a mask! Not much is being asked of you. Wear one with alacrity and a sense of purpose
